About Us

Our Story

Respecting Your Vehicle and Your Time.

At Gearhaven Auto & Diesel, we believe every vehicle deserves expert care and every customer deserves honest answers.

We started Gearhaven with a simple mission: create the kind of repair shop we'd want our own families to visit.

Too many people have experienced confusing estimates, poor communication, and pressure to approve repairs they don't fully understand. We wanted to build something different. A place where customers feel comfortable asking questions, receiving honest recommendations, and knowing their vehicle is being cared for by people who genuinely have their best interests in mind.

Today, that mission continues with every vehicle that enters our shop.

Repairing vehicles isn't just about replacing parts.

It's about helping people make informed decisions with confidence.

We know that unexpected repairs can be stressful, which is why we prioritize clear communication throughout the process. You'll understand what we found, why we recommend a repair, what can safely wait, and what your options are before any work begins.

Every vehicle has different needs depending on its age, mileage, and how it's used. Our technicians have experience servicing everything from daily commuters and family SUVs to work trucks, fleet vehicles, and heavy-duty diesel pickups.

Whether you drive a Honda Civic, Toyota Camry, Ford F-150, Chevy Silverado, work van, or diesel truck, our team has the knowledge and equipment to help keep it running reliably.

Our services include preventative maintenance, oil changes, brake repair, suspension repairs, steering components, engine diagnostics, transmission service, diesel diagnostics, major engine repairs, and complete engine rebuilds.

No matter what brings you into the shop, our goal remains the same: provide honest recommendations, dependable repairs, and help keep your vehicle safely on the road.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes Gearhaven Auto & Diesel different?

We know taking your vehicle to a repair shop isn't always something you look forward to. That's why we focus on making the experience as straightforward as possible. We'll explain what we find, answer your questions, and help you understand your options so you can make the decision that's right for you.

What types of vehicles do you work on?

We work on most domestic and import cars, trucks, SUVs, vans, fleet vehicles, and diesel pickups. Whether you drive a Honda, Toyota, Ford, Chevrolet, RAM, Jeep, GMC, Nissan, or another make, our team is equipped to handle routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs.

Do you work on both gas and diesel vehicles?

Yes. While diesel repair is one of our specialties, we also service gasoline-powered vehicles every day. From family cars and SUVs to work trucks and fleet vehicles, we're here to help keep them running their best.

Do you only handle major repairs?

Not at all. Many of our customers come to us for routine maintenance like oil changes, brake service, inspections, and fluid changes. Regular maintenance helps your vehicle perform better and can often catch small issues before they turn into bigger repairs.

Will you explain what's wrong before you start the repair?

Absolutely. We believe you should understand what's going on with your vehicle before any work begins. We'll walk you through what we found, explain why we recommend a repair, answer your questions, and let you know if something can safely wait.

Do I have to own a diesel truck to bring my vehicle to Gearhaven?

No. We work on much more than diesel trucks. Whether you drive a commuter car, a family SUV, a work van, a pickup, or a diesel truck, we're here to help with everything from regular maintenance to more involved repairs.

Where are you located?

Our shop is in Nixa, Missouri, and we're proud to serve drivers from throughout the Ozarks, including Springfield, Ozark, Republic, Highlandville, and nearby communities.

Why choose a locally owned repair shop?

When you visit a local shop, you're working with people who live in the same community you do. We take pride in getting to know our customers, being available when questions come up, and earning your trust one visit at a time.

Come see the difference for yourself.

Experience a repair shop that values honesty, communication, and relationships. We'd be honored to earn your trust.
